The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Uriburú's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Moise came free, but Leo Bilintx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Adolfo Moise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Roque Ekhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Delmar Oskitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leo Bilintx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adolfo Moise might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Bilintx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Moise ran back to his position shaking his head. Adolfo Moise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Leo Bilintx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo Bilintx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmar Oskitz went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Jonathan Jakes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Ekhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Jacobo Tuste had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Jakes. Defensa y Justicia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacobo Tuste was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
After a defensive mix-up in Uriburú's zone, Delmar Oskitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Bilintx came out of the goal and Delmar Oskitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delmar Oskitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Leo Bilintx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Tuste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Jakes having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Jacobo Tuste mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uriburú and the Defensa y Justicia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Uriburú:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Defensa y Justicia:s goal. 75 minutes into the match, Jacobo Tuste had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Jakes. Defensa y Justicia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacobo Tuste was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. When Jimeno Mingo fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uriburú's protests and gave Jimeno Mingo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Defensa y Justicia booed when Uriburú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Mingo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Delmar Oskitz came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Defensa y Justicia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Oskitz couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Jakes came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Uriburú's Roque Ekhi. But to his dismay, Roque Ekhi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. 87 minutes into the match, Defensa y Justicia's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Tuste came free, but Jonathan Jakes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Jacobo Tuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Uriburú's Roque Ekhi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Jakes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Jaume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Oskitz in the 96th minute of play forced Uriburú's goalkeeper Leo Bilintx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 99 minutes, Jonathan Jaume took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Leo Bilintx to make any attempt to save it.
