Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pica Piernas F.C.'s Godofredo Blanco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pica Piernas F.C.'s Nemesio Lauro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 3rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Baldomiro Ekialde but with some difficulty. Baldomiro Ekialde came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Pica Piernas F.C.'s Humberto Balendin. But to his dismay, Humberto Balendin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Humberto Viviano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Balendin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Baldomiro Ekialde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Blanco in the 17th minute of play forced Club Union Deportiva's goalkeeper Baldomiro Ekialde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Ekialde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Blanco in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Viviano in the 22nd minute of play forced Pica Piernas F.C.'s goalkeeper German Baraquiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jose Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Club Union Deportiva's Baldomiro Ekialde got control of the ball when Humberto Balendin tried to sneak it across the goal line. German Baraquiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Bautista in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Pica Piernas F.C.'s Humberto Balendin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomiro Ekialde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Club Union Deportiva's Jose Bautista got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baldomiro Ekialde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Balendin in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Club Union Deportiva booed when Pica Piernas F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Cidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Bautista made a kick off. If Humberto Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Bautista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Viviano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. German Baraquiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Pica Piernas F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Cidro to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Pica Piernas F.C.'s zone, Humberto Viviano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. German Baraquiel came out of the goal and Humberto Viviano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jose Bautista charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Bautista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Jose Bautista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godofredo Blanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Godofredo Blanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Ekialde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
