Baldomiro Ekialde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enzo Lapurdi went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Bautista in the 10th minute of play forced Yoscaba FC's goalkeeper Benigno Odol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes Yoscaba FC got a freekick which was hit by Donato Senin. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Arnoldo Frutos put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Baldomiro Ekialde. In the 22nd minute, Jose Bautista reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benigno Odol. The goal made the score 1-2. Club Union Deportiva's Baldomiro Ekialde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Frutos in the 27th minute of play. Baldomiro Ekialde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnoldo Frutos went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Arnoldo Frutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Ekialde having to interfere. Baldomiro Ekialde came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Yoscaba FC's Enzo Lapurdi. But to his dismay, Enzo Lapurdi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After 40 played minutes Yoscaba FC got a freekick which was hit by Victor Ospin. When Club Union Deportiva's Jose Bautista in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yoscaba FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jose Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Odol having to interfere. When Donato Senin fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yoscaba FC's protests and gave Donato Senin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Yoscaba FC's Donato Senin got a free kick in the 45th minute. Club Union Deportiva's Natalio Eztebe couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Yoscaba FC.

Baldomiro Ekialde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Frutos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jose Bautista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benigno Odol was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, Club Union Deportiva's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Frutos came free, but Baldomiro Ekialde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomiro Ekialde came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Yoscaba FC's Enzo Lapurdi. But to his dismay, Enzo Lapurdi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Baldomiro Ekialde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Lapurdi in the 80th minute. If Enzo Lapurdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baldomiro Ekialde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Frutos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yoscaba FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
