Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albano Jordy started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Castaño AFC booed when Polvaredas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Quintan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Ebardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Severino Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Polvaredas getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Esteban Quintan hit a great ball. Severino Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Jordy in the 9th minute of the match. Polvaredas's Severino Batista hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-1! If Florentino Ebardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Ortle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Roldanillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 31 minutes, Braulio Roldanillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polvaredas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Roldanillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Florentino Ebardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Castaño AFC's Florentino Ebardo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 44 minutes of play, Castaño AFC's Florentino Ebardo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Batista was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 47 minutes, Fernando Remicio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castaño AFC and the Polvaredas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Castaño AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Remicio.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Braulio Roldanillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florentino Ebardo struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Severino Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castaño AFC. Albano Jordy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Batista having to interfere. Silverio Ortle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Roldanillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Severino Batista managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Castaño AFC's Florentino Ebardo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The corner led Castaño AFC's Candido Oskarbi to fire away a dangerous shot which Severino Batista despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 73rd minute Albano Jordy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Ebardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Severino Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Castaño AFC's Florentino Ebardo got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severino Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Jordy in the 79th minute of play. In the 88th minute of the match Fernando Remicio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severino Batista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Polvaredas's Braulio Roldanillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silverio Ortle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Castaño AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Roldanillo came free, but Silverio Ortle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Polvaredas's goalkeeper Severino Batista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Ebardo. Castaño AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
