Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benedicto Gai started the match with the kick off. Benedicto Gai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luciano Pinto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Parish fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! Salvador Firme walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Parish's Luciano Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Olayo in the 15th minute of play. Benedicto Gai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Pinto having to interfere. Ezequiel Firme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bartolo Dimas having to make a save. Thanks to some nice moves Mauro Meder could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Bartolo Dimas however easily saved by the left post. Mauro Meder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Dimas having to interfere. The supporters of BOCA jrs booed when Parish was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Egun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Zeledon Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Meder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Dimas having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BOCA jrs's Urbano Platon got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 40th minute, Rodrigo Isadore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, BOCA jrs's Bartolo Dimas got control of the ball when Mauro Meder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bartolo Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Firme, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 50 minutes had been played when some careless play by Parish's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Salvador Firme was slow to take the kick. During this time BOCA jrs's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Urbano Platon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luciano Pinto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ezequiel Firme was the one to do the kick off. Bartolo Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Firme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Ezequiel Firme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bartolo Dimas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ezequiel Firme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ezequiel Firme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bartolo Dimas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Mauro Meder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Segundo Olayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Luciano Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of BOCA jrs booed when Parish was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Benino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Segundo Olayo got free with Luciano Pinto in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 97 minutes into the match, Parish's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Gai came free, but Luciano Pinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Parish's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
