Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arturo Tiadoro took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Isaac Modestio came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Soldevilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Modestio couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Ávalos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Soldevilla:s goal. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Soldevilla. David Franco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cornelio Ongile. 0-1. Freddy Herena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornelio Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Herena in the 14th minute of play. When Soldevilla's Isaac Modestio in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ávalos's goalie prevented a goal. Freddy Herena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornelio Ongile read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Cornelio Ongile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Milian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddy Herena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Cornelio Ongile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornelio Ongile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Peruxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute, Francisco Milian made a precise shot to the right of Cornelio Ongile. Ávalos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 43rd minute Geronimo Calvet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Sotero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 minutes, Froilan Peruxu made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ávalos's Cornelio Ongile tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaac Modestio to strike the kick off in the second half. Cornelio Ongile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freddy Herena in the 52nd minute. Cornelio Ongile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Peruxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 minutes, Geronimo Calvet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ávalos and the Soldevilla players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Ávalos got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Calvet. In the 61st minute, Soldevilla's Francisco Milian dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. If Francisco Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Francisco Milian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Cornelio Ongile made a huge save. In the 67th match minute, Soldevilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Milian to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Ongile was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Freddy Herena capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Freddy Herena really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Froilan Peruxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Soldevilla booed when Ávalos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Tiadoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddy Herena was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cornelio Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Modestio in the 81st minute of play. Cornelio Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Milian in the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Soldevilla got a freekick which was hit by Omar Breogan. 86 minutes into the match, Soldevilla's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Calvet came free, but Cristian Sotero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sotero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Calvet, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Geronimo Calvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Soldevilla had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
