But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Duardo couldn't finish the play. Celso Gutxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the ATALAYA CLUB MDQ defense, Gogo Duardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Rosalio. The ATALAYA CLUB MDQ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Rosalio should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, Melquiades Isusko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jacobo Ikatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in ATALAYA CLUB MDQ's zone, Jacobo Ikatz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Rosalio came out of the goal and Jacobo Ikatz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Ikatz in the 41st minute of play forced ATALAYA CLUB MDQ's goalkeeper Abelardo Rosalio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ATALAYA CLUB MDQ's Melquiades Isusko got a free kick in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Culampajá FC's Jacinto Orixe broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gogo Duardo made the kick off in the second half. 0-2 became the score in the 53rd minute when Gogo Duardo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cipriano Urbez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Gutxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Culampajá FC's Cecilio Guzman got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 59 minutes, Jacobo Ikatz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Culampajá FC and the ATALAYA CLUB MDQ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jacobo Ikatz hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Jacobo Ikatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Rosalio having to interfere.
