Julio Lordi hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Despidida's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Pelayo came free, but Fausto Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Leoiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Lima's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Lordi came free, but Pedro Urtun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lima's Jesus Maria got a free kick in the 59th minute. Guido Argi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Urtun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celestino Maura went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Lima's Fulgencio Pelayo got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 84 minutes, Celestino Maura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Despidida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Maura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fulgencio Pelayo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Lima's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fausto Valentine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Argi in the 98th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lima players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Despidida.
