Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Chapadmalal's Adolfo Firmin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ildefonso Olo made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Lucas Rojelio sent off a good shot on target. Ildefonso Olo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Firmin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Rojelio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 15th playminute. Adolfo Firmin might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ildefonso Olo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Firmin ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Rojelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chapadmalal's Adolfo Firmin got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chapadmalal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filomeno Demesio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

If Adolfo Firmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Club Atletico River Plate getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Gustavo Cuartio hit a great ball. Lucas Rojelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Olo having to interfere. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Atletico River Plate would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
