Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Filomeno Duarte made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Chago in the 3rd minute of play forced Club Atletico River Plate's goalkeeper Ildefonso Olo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laureano Gergori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ildefonso Olo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes, Santos Abadie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico River Plate and the Fanegas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Santos Abadie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Gaizko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laureano Gergori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Filomeno Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Seber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Filomeno Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Demesio came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ovidio Seber could save by the left post. The supporters of Club Atletico River Plate booed when Fanegas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Vitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Club Atletico River Plate's Bartolo Orland tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Anastasio Gaizko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Club Atletico River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Gaizko came free, but Ildefonso Olo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Club Atletico River Plate's Filomeno Demesio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Seber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, Club Atletico River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Urbasa to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Anastasio Gaizko made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Filomeno Demesio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico River Plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anastasio Gaizko in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ildefonso Olo saved Club Atletico River Plate from getting behind. Ovidio Seber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Demesio, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ovidio Seber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Club Atletico River Plate's Filomeno Demesio in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fanegas's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico River Plate's zone, Laureano Gergori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romulo Vitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Olo having to interfere. Laureano Gergori blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ildefonso Olo having to make a save. Adolfo Urbasa kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes, Fanegas's Braulio Benvide shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ildefonso Olo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fanegas reached it. Laureano Gergori struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Ildefonso Olo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fanegas. After 91 played minutes Club Atletico River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Santos Abadie. Fanegas's Braulio Benvide couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club Atletico River Plate. In the 94th minute, Anastasio Gaizko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico River Plate's zone, Laureano Gergori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Olo came out of the goal and Laureano Gergori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Atletico River Plate's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
