In the 16thth minute of the game Leopoldo Dei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Talibanes FC's Abelardo Vellito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Laboulaye's zone, Jairo Ted stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Navarro came out of the goal and Jairo Ted tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cipriano Qwinton struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Teo Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Talibanes FC. After 24 played minutes Laboulaye got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Orzaize. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Patrido got free with Teo Navarro in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Laboulaye getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Hector Iban hit a great ball. Teo Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Qwinton in the 28th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernan Palban during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hernan Palban kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Ciriaco Garin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Qwinton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jairo Ted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the match, Laboulaye's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Qwinton came free, but Teo Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Qwinton in the 56th minute of play forced Laboulaye's goalkeeper Teo Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Ted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teo Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Qwinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Jairo Ted received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Teo Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Laboulaye! In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Los Talibanes FC. Gilberto Patrido stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Teo Navarro. 1-0. In the 66th minute, Cipriano Qwinton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Gar during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gilberto Patrido shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 72nd match minute, Los Talibanes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Patrido to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Laboulaye's Teofilo Orzaize in action when he in the 74th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Abelardo Vellito made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Leopoldo Dei sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute Cipriano Qwinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Qwinton took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teo Navarro. Teo Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Cipriano Qwinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Teo Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano Qwinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Navarro having to interfere. Hector Iban's late challenge caught a Los Talibanes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Iban helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Los Talibanes FC booed when Laboulaye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Iban didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 99th minute of the match Los Talibanes FC got a corner. Laboulaye's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gilberto Patrido ran over to the corner to take the kick.
