Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Reynaldo Bero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hernan Eliazar struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Andres Maurin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pelicurá AFC. The supporters of Pelicurá AFC booed when Mairena FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Polo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Eliazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hernan Eliazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 19 minutes, Astor Guib mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mairena FC and the Pelicurá AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Mairena FC got a freekick which was hit by Astor Guib. Ildefonso Mitxel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andres Maurin. Mairena FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hernan Eliazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mateo Perfecto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute of the match Ildefonso Mitxel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andres Maurin skillfully saved the ball. Hernan Eliazar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andres Maurin having to make a save. After some careless play in the Mairena FC defense, Mateo Perfecto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andres Maurin. The Mairena FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andres Maurin should have stopped the shot. After the first half Pelicurá AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernan Eliazar to make the kick off. A collision led to Pelicurá AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Romeo Benat hit a great ball. Reynaldo Bero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Meder having to interfere. Celso Tiadoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Meder having to interfere. Celso Tiadoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateo Perfecto struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Andres Maurin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pelicurá AFC. The Pelicurá AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pelicurá AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
