Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Evelio Felipillo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Andres Maurin 4 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the game, one of Mairena FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 12 minutes, Chacarita Juniors's Godofredo Bernaldo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Andres Maurin. Mairena FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Casimiro Iratze scored to the left of an out of position Andres Maurin, making the score, 3-0. Romeo Loiola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Tiadoro in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute Casimiro Iratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Maurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Chacarita Juniors's Casimiro Iratze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andres Maurin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Casimiro Iratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mairena FC's Andres Maurin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Iratze in the 45th minute of play. When Mairena FC's Celso Tiadoro in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chacarita Juniors's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Casimiro Iratze made a kick off. Andres Maurin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Felipillo in the 52nd minute of the match. If Evelio Felipillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Celso Tiadoro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chacarita Juniors's goalkeeper Romeo Loiola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Casimiro Iratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Andres Maurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Albano Faron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chacarita Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Faron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andres Maurin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chacarita Juniors's Casimiro Iratze got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Felipillo in the 78th minute of play forced Mairena FC's goalkeeper Andres Maurin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mairena FC's Celso Tiadoro managed to work through Chacarita Juniors's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Celso Tiadoro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Celso Tiadoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Celso Tiadoro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mairena FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The corner led Chacarita Juniors's Evelio Felipillo to fire away a dangerous shot which Andres Maurin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 96th minute, Celso Tiadoro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
