Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) German Ermano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Aureliano Sazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 5 minutes, German Ermano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Ermano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Araujo's Cirilo Roldan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hector Demario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 10 played minutes Araujo got a freekick which was hit by Guido Jerico. When Aureliano Sazon came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Balsa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Sazon couldn't finish the play. Baltasar Lucila kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, German Ermano fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With 28 minutes on the clock, Victorino Fidele commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 27 minutes into the game, one of Balsa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hector Demario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Roldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Christian Tohias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cirilo Roldan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Demario having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cirilo Roldan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cirilo Roldan came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Araujo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Roldan couldn't finish the play. Cirilo Roldan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Demario having to interfere. Hector Demario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Roldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Cirilo Roldan spun around in front of the goal 58 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Balsa's goal. Javier Natanael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Sazon in the 65th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Balsa's goalkeeper Hector Demario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Tohias. After a defensive mix-up in Araujo's zone, Aureliano Sazon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Natanael came out of the goal and Aureliano Sazon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aureliano Sazon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Natanael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. With a little luck, Balsa's Hector Demario got control of the ball when Christian Tohias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Araujo's Christian Tohias got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cirilo Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Araujo booed when Balsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Milio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cirilo Roldan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Araujo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Araujo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
