Faustino Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Sazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. German Ermano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Sazon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Afonso having to interfere. Faustino Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Ermano in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Ermengol in the 33rd minute of play forced Balsa's goalkeeper Hector Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustino Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Sazon in the 37th minute of the match. German Ermano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustino Afonso came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Balsa's German Ermano. But to his dismay, German Ermano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After the first half Balsa were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Aureliano Sazon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute German Ermano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Balsa's Arnaldo Steven got a free kick in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Balsa's zone, Samuel Prejun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Demario came out of the goal and Samuel Prejun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute German Ermano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. German Ermano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Faustino Afonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Balsa's Roque Garaona got a free kick in the 69th minute. Aureliano Sazon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Afonso having to interfere. Aureliano Sazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. German Ermano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Prejun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faustino Afonso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from German Ermano went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Aureliano Sazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balsa played a much better game than pincha caseros and deserved their victory. The pincha caseros players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
