The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nunez Nalo helped the player get up and apologised. Nunez Nalo kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Gilberto Dalmai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Felipillo having to interfere. Alonzo Mendebal hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Nunez Nalo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Honorato Petri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Prospero Felipillo. Sarmiento FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 22 minutes of play, Sarmiento FC's Aurelio Senon made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustaquio Muc was left in no man's land by his defense there! Prospero Felipillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Dalmai in the 26th minute of play. If Igor Beat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Beat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Eustaquio Muc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sarmiento FC's Aldo Vincent couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for La caneleta.

With his leg Eustaquio Muc managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Sarmiento FC's Aurelio Senon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Prospero Felipillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Brais in the 56th minute of the match. During the 56th minute of the match Nunez Nalo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nunez Nalo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. When La caneleta's Gilberto Dalmai in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Dalmai in the 76th minute of play forced Sarmiento FC's goalkeeper Prospero Felipillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Senon struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Eustaquio Muc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarmiento FC. 84 minutes into the match, La caneleta's goalkeeper Eustaquio Muc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Senon. When Adolfo Gregory fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La caneleta's protests and gave Adolfo Gregory a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sarmiento FC booed when La caneleta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Gregory didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, La caneleta's Eustaquio Muc got control of the ball when Aurelio Senon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eriberto Brais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Felipillo having to interfere. La caneleta's Eriberto Brais got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a good free kick, Gilberto Dalmai got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Sarmiento FC. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sarmiento FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
