Dante Oliverio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 17 played minutes Constitución FC got a freekick which was hit by Amador Firmo. Manuel Montel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Venceslao in the 19th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Eustaquio Pirro put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Manuel Montel. If Aristides Lehoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Seguinus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Augusto Venceslao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustaquio Pirro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celso Naldo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Dante Oliverio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Lehoi in the 52nd minute of play. Eustaquio Pirro struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Manuel Montel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huascha. After taking down the ball on Huascha's corner Siro Colon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Manuel Montel quite easily take care of the ball. When Eustaquio Pirro came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Huascha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Pirro couldn't finish the play. If Augusto Venceslao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Manuel Montel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Pirro, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Andres Rutenio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Huascha's Andres Rutenio got a free kick in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Huascha's zone, Inocencio Leoiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Oliverio came out of the goal and Inocencio Leoiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Aristides Lehoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huascha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Constitución FC the free kick. In the 98th minute, Eliseo Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celso Naldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Huascha players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
