Reynaldo Pinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Acevedo in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Munio in the 15th minute of play forced Moores AFC's goalkeeper Elpidio Lluques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Enaut struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Reynaldo Pinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moores AFC. Taraguy RC's Reynaldo Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Acevedo in the 22nd minute of play. After 25 minutes, Alfonso Lartaun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moores AFC and the Taraguy RC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Enaut got free with Reynaldo Pinto in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Moores AFC's Placido Enaut got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristobal Acevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Reynaldo Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Taraguy RC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Lartaun came free, but Reynaldo Pinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristobal Acevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristobal Acevedo to make the kick off. Cristobal Acevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Pinto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristobal Acevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Moores AFC booed when Taraguy RC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Nevada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Enaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cristobal Acevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taraguy RC's Reynaldo Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Enaut in the 70th minute of play. Placido Enaut scored 1-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Pinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reynaldo Pinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Acevedo in the 76th minute of the match. Cristobal Acevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Pinto having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Placido Enaut had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Pinto. Taraguy RC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Placido Enaut was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Placido Enaut struck a weak shot in the 89th minute.
