Humberto Mendiko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Polentzi in the 6th minute of the match. Humberto Mendiko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amancio Gutxi in the 7th minute. Melquiades Felipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Gutxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Humberto Mendiko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Melquiades Felipo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alem AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Felipo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Alem AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dionisio Polentzi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ladislao Larpe during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Ladislao Larpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Mendiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Polentzi in the 22nd minute of play. Epifanio Asur hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Dalmacio Eskuin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alem AFC's Humberto Mendiko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Alem AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, Amancio Gutxi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 played minutes Alem AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Oto. Amancio Gutxi struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Humberto Mendiko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zubillaga. Melquiades Felipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Baldovino having to interfere. Amancio Gutxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Humberto Mendiko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Alem AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Polentzi came free, but Humberto Mendiko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dionisio Polentzi was the one to do the kick off. Ladislao Larpe kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Humberto Mendiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Polentzi in the 53rd minute of play. Amancio Gutxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Mendiko having to interfere. Humberto Mendiko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Gutxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The Zubillaga fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Zubillaga's Dionisio Polentzi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Humberto Mendiko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Gutxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Melquiades Felipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Mendiko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amancio Gutxi went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Dionisio Polentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute, Armando Iaki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Epifanio Asur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Humberto Mendiko. Alem AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. There was no doubt that Zubillaga were the better team. Zubillaga's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
