Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Amadeo Olentzaro made the kick off and thus started the match. Epifanio Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Muc, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Venancio Pacorro struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Epifanio Shepherd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pasco FC. Gilberto Muc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Shepherd having to interfere. Amadeo Olentzaro hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21stth minute of the game Severiano Urdaspal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo's Epifanio Shepherd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Venancio Pacorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Epifanio Shepherd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Venancio Pacorro in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Shepherd saved San Lorenzo from getting behind. Epifanio Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Muc in the 29th minute of play. After 32 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Olentzaro. If Venancio Pacorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Olentzaro's late challenge caught a Pasco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeo Olentzaro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Amadeo Olentzaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gilberto Muc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venancio Pacorro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Epifanio Shepherd having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Venancio Pacorro had several of the San Lorenzo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Epifanio Shepherd as he didn't even see the shot coming. Epifanio Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Urdaspal in the 59th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Venancio Pacorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Shepherd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Shepherd was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Severiano Urdaspal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 81 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Venancio Pacorro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pasco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Pacorro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Shepherd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Venancio Pacorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Muc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pasco FC played a much better game than San Lorenzo and deserved their victory. The San Lorenzo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
