Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcelo Abalos kicked off to start the match. Prospero Heriberto struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Saverio Loramendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gastona. After having played for 13 minutes, Mauricio Bazkoare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gastona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Bazkoare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mauricio Bazkoare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Loramendi having to interfere. When Gastona's Mauricio Bazkoare in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye W&N FC's goalie prevented a goal. Saverio Loramendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Bazkoare in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Mauricio Bazkoare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Loramendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Abalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aaron Errapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Abalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Gastona's Maximo Gonza got a free kick in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Gastona's goalkeeper Aaron Errapel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Lando. In the 42nd minute Marcelo Abalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Errapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauricio Bazkoare to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Eliseo Ferrando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. W&N FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gastona the free kick. The supporters of Gastona booed when W&N FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Ferrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Mauricio Bazkoare fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Marcelo Abalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Gastona's Maximo Gonza got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Elpidio Lando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
