A collision led to Gastona getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Romulo Eufrasio hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Rediaan FC's goalkeeper Moises Muc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prospero Heriberto. Maximo Gonza kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Gastona's Mauricio Bazkoare in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gastona's Aaron Errapel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Lapurdi in the 44th minute of play. Gastona's Mauricio Bazkoare got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Mauricio Bazkoare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Mauricio Bazkoare left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gastona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 59th minute of the match Denis Jaen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aaron Errapel skillfully saved the ball. Marcos Saturnin's late challenge caught a Rediaan FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Saturnin helped the player get up and apologised. Marcos Saturnin hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Prospero Heriberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Moises Muc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Bazkoare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustaquio Cuarto succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. 96 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Cuarto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aaron Errapel, 2-3. Chants of Rediaan FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Gastona had held the ball for most of the match.
