The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gilberto Osoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Pere having to interfere. Paulito AFC's Julio Pere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Roland in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, David Peio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Severo Guib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ezequiel Vergaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Peio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Vergaray having to interfere. Ezequiel Vergaray made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when David Peio sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Roland in the 16th minute of play forced Paulito AFC's goalkeeper Julio Pere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Osoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Pere having to interfere. Julio Pere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Osoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 21 played minutes Paulito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Teofilio. Severo Guib could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ezequiel Vergaray made a huge save. When Gilberto Osoro came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the La Reserva de Almagro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Osoro couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Paulito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Osoro came free, but Julio Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severo Guib could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ezequiel Vergaray made a huge save. If Gilberto Osoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Paulito AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Reserva de Almagro were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when David Peio made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Paulito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Dimas. Paulito AFC's Julio Pere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Paulito AFC from getting a goal against them. Gilberto Osoro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 60th playminute. David Peio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ezequiel Vergaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Pere dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When the final whistle sounded La Reserva de Almagro left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Paulito AFC.
