Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ismael Cordero kicked off to start the match. Aparicio's Cornelio Cisco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Cordero in the 4th minute of play. After 4 played minutes Aparicio got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Gerazan. After 9 played minutes Aparicio got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Gerazan. 12 minutes into the game, Ismael Cordero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cornelio Cisco. Ismael Cordero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 14th minute, Agustin Herauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Cordero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmiro Lluciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Baumer in the 22nd minute of play. When Filomeno Hartz fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivas's protests and gave Filomeno Hartz a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Rivas got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Hartz. Rivas's Ismael Cordero got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Norberto Dariens short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Cornelio Cisco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Aurelio Baumer came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Aparicio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Baumer couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Daniel Jokin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Cordero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Cisco having to interfere. Aparicio's Aurelio Baumer got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Rivas defense, Agustin Herauso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmiro Lluciano. The Rivas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmiro Lluciano should have stopped the shot. Generoso Quico charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Generoso Quico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Aparicio got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Quico. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurelio Baumer was the one to do the kick off. Aparicio's Cornelio Cisco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Frederik in the 56th minute of play. Cornelio Cisco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto Darien's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Delmiro Lluciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Baumer in the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Norberto Darien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rivas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Darien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cornelio Cisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Darien in the 75th minute of play. Generoso Quico hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Ismael Cordero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Cisco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Baumer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Lluciano having to interfere. Cornelio Cisco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Norberto Darien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rivas's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Darien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Cisco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Rivas getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ismael Cordero hit a great ball. If Aurelio Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Baumer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aparicio players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rivas.
