Dalmacio Lixandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Ourente, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Eustacio Lartaun struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Dalmacio Lixandro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doblas. In the 31st minute Felix Guipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Lixandro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Doblas getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Fausto Frechoso hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Guipuzkoa in the 38th minute of play forced Juntas's goalkeeper Dalmacio Lixandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Juntas's Arturo Loi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tadeo Ourente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
