With a little luck, Macha's Gabriel Bibiano got control of the ball when Ramon Artaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gasolero's Teodosio Lando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Casomiro in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Mauricio Casomiro made the kick off in the second half. Macha's Mauricio Casomiro managed to work through Gasolero's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Mauricio Casomiro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Maximo Etxeberri hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Artaldo in the 64th minute of play forced Macha's goalkeeper Gabriel Bibiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aureliano Javiar fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Macha's protests and gave Aureliano Javiar a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Macha getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Aureliano Javiar hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Macha's Mauricio Casomiro got a free kick in the 66th minute. Damian Guerau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Gabriel Bibiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Filomeno Jurdan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Teodosio Lando, passed just outside the right post. Primitivo Remicio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gasolero's Teodosio Lando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Gasolero from getting a goal against them. Macha's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Gasolero had won, even though Macha had held more of the ball.
