Marcelo Raymond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guiñazú AFC. The attack was good, but when Godofredo Salvatore in the 20th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The supporters of Guiñazú AFC booed when Club Atlético Kevin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Inko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Blas Gomez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Raymond showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Kevin's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Peruxu came free, but Marcelo Raymond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Eusebio Peruxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd match minute, Club Atlético Kevin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Oalo to maneuver through the defense. Club Atlético Kevin's Marcelo Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Peruxu in the 33rd minute of play. Marcelo Raymond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Peruxu in the 36th minute of the match. After 38 minutes, Cornelio Ermano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Kevin and the Guiñazú AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Guiñazú AFC booed when Club Atlético Kevin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Ermano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Eusebio Peruxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godofredo Salvatore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Marcelo Raymond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

51 minutes into the game, Aquilino Madeo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Kevin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guiñazú AFC the free kick. In the 51st minute, Aquilino Madeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Nataniel in the 55th minute of play forced Guiñazú AFC's goalkeeper Juan Etxahun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Jacobo Nataniel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Etxahun. Guiñazú AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacobo Nataniel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Eusebio Peruxus short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Marcelo Raymond to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Kevin defense, Eusebio Peruxu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Raymond. The Club Atlético Kevin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Raymond should have stopped the shot. Juan Etxahun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benicio Bento's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. When Arturo Oxarra fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guiñazú AFC's protests and gave Arturo Oxarra a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Benicio Bento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Etxahun was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Guiñazú AFC's Eusebio Peruxu got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Etxahun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Nataniel in the 96th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
