Haroldo Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Egoi in the 8th minute of play. If Generoso Sidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Generoso Sidro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laplacette's supporters rose to their feet, but Generoso Sidro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Maldonado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dalmacio Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Sidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Egoi in the 31st minute of play forced Laplacette's goalkeeper Haroldo Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Generoso Sidro sped through Quehué FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dalmacio Maldonado. 38 minutes into the match, Laplacette's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Silbestre came free, but Haroldo Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teofilo Aires during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Laplacette booed when Quehué FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Aires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Generoso Sidro struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Dalmacio Maldonado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laplacette. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Generoso Sidro made a kick off. Carolo Egoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Generoso Sidro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laplacette fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Esteban Oliveiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmacio Maldonado came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Laplacette's Generoso Sidro. But to his dismay, Generoso Sidro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Laplacette's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Carolo Egoi scored to the left of an out of position Haroldo Furtado, making the score, 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Silbestre got free with Haroldo Furtado in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Esteban Oliveiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laplacette fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Victor Silbestre might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haroldo Furtado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Silbestre ran back to his position shaking his head. 84 minutes into the match, Laplacette's goalkeeper Haroldo Furtado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Silbestre. The supporters of Quehué FC booed when Laplacette was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Victor Silbestre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carolo Egoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Furtado having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Victor Silbestre fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Laplacette's Haroldo Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Egoi in the 94th minute of play. Laplacette were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Quehué FC for a fine match.
