After a rather tough play, Caipirinha FC 09-12-2018's Moises Bazkoare got a free kick in the 20th minute. Steaua Bucarest's Ciriaco Laffitte got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Hug made a kick off. If Domingos Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Hug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Danel having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Mario Rius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Steaua Bucarest's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caipirinha FC 09-12-2018 the free kick. Caipirinha FC 09-12-2018's Luciano Gabino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Ferran in the 77th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Domingos Vela fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Felix Danel, passed just outside the right post. 88 minutes into the match, Steaua Bucarest's goalkeeper Felix Danel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingos Vela. Steaua Bucarest's Gualterio Fanuco got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
