Tadeo Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Laffitte in the 18th minute of the match. Jairo Osmundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Felix Danel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Beltxe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Danel having to make a save. In the 23rd minute of the match, Genaro Beltxe got a very nice opportunity to score, but Felix Danel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tadeo Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Fanuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Galo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute of the match Emiliano Casado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tadeo Bernal skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Steaua Bucarest's zone, Jairo Osmundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Danel came out of the goal and Jairo Osmundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Pastillos FC booed when Steaua Bucarest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Casado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Amadeo Chesus sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Steaua Bucarest's Felix Danel didn't even have to move. When Teodosio Otsando was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. Ciriaco Laffitte might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Bernal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciriaco Laffitte ran back to his position shaking his head. Ciriaco Laffitte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Tadeo Bernal managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Steaua Bucarest's Ciriaco Laffitte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pastillos FC's Genaro Beltxe got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jairo Osmundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
