With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Monte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fidel Bastian's late challenge caught a La Banda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidel Bastian helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Gallegos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Banda FC:s goal. Silverio Llin struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Apolo Gartzen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Banda FC. After 36 minutes La Banda FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Laureano Garoa who took care of the corner kick. 37 minutes into the match, Gallegos's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Cresenciano came free, but Apolo Gartzen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Eusebio Seber made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Monte. La Banda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, La Banda FC's Alejo Lopes got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Banda FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Monte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 61 minutes of play, Gallegos's Ceferino Sancho made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Monte was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ceferino Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Gallegos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Sancho couldn't finish the play. La Banda FC's Alejo Lopes got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Alejo Lopes off the ground. The supporters of Gallegos booed when La Banda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Ceferino Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, La Banda FC's Edgardo Pacorro got a free kick in the 80th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Ceferino Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gallegos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Eusebio Seber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ceferino Sancho had several of the La Banda FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Alfredo Monte as he didn't even see the shot coming. Eusebio Seber scored 1-4 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Monte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eusebio Seber took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Monte. Alfredo Monte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5.
