Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Evaristo Pacorro took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Copina's zone, Aquiles Monte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Rubio came out of the goal and Aquiles Monte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Emesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Delmar Roderigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Placido Millrick was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Copina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Genius the free kick. A collision led to Copina getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Placido Millrick hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes Genius got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Eguntsenti. In the 17th match minute, Genius was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Eguntsenti to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Copina getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Evaristo Pacorro hit a great ball. When Evaristo Pacorro fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Copina's protests and gave Evaristo Pacorro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Copina getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. After a rather tough play, Copina's Evaristo Pacorro got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute Igor Emesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Roderigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Pacorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 77 minutes, Roberto Llanos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Genius and the Copina players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Genius got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Llanos. Victor Eskuin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Igor Emesto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Copina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
