Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jacinto Gumaro kicked off to start the match. Joaquin Eleazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Ederono in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Haritz in the 10th minute of play forced C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham's goalkeeper Joaquin Eleazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Fausto Haritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Eleazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Eleazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Haritz in the 13th minute of the match. Joaquin Eleazar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fausto Haritz went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Patricio Ederono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rdth minute of the game Patricio Ederono who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham's Joaquin Eleazar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham's Tiburcio Primo got a free kick in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cañete's zone, Jacinto Gumaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Urtun came out of the goal and Jacinto Gumaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Ederono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Joaquin Eleazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Haritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joaquin Eleazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Ederono, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Cañete's Fausto Haritz got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jacinto Gumaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Cañete were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fausto Haritz made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Jacinto Gumaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cañete's Mario Urtun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Haritz in the 58th minute of play forced C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham's goalkeeper Joaquin Eleazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Ederono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Eleazar having to interfere. After 63 minutes, Zacarias Gutierrez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham and the Cañete players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham! The referee gave Cañete a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Evelio Abajas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham's Joaquin Eleazar. 0-2. Mario Urtun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Gumaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Joaquin Eleazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Haritz in the 74th minute of play. Mario Urtun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Onbera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Gumaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Urtun having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Gutierrez to maneuver through the defense. Evelio Abajas, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Patricio Ederono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Fausto Haritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Eleazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Onbera to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cañete's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zacarias Gutierrez was slow to take the kick. During this time C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on C.S.y R.Gral.Fotheringham's corner Zacarias Gutierrez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mario Urtun quite easily take care of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cañete had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
