Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Saverio Hernandez started the match with the kick off. Adolfo Veremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute Arnoldo Evis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Olentzaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Efrain Olentzaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Evis, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Efrain Olentzaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Veremundo in the 26th minute of play. Cipriano Urtun kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Arnoldo Evis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efrain Olentzaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Polvaredas booed when Yala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Nuno didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Polvaredas getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jose Maldonado hit a great ball. Yala were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Polvaredas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomás Tabb took the corner. The supporters of Yala booed when Polvaredas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Veremundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tomás Tabb came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Yala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Tabb couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Veremundo came free, but Efrain Olentzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Yala's Cipriano Urtun got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Yala's goalkeeper Efrain Olentzaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Polvaredas's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Hernandez came free, but Abelardo Henric reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnoldo Evis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gervasio Nuno's late challenge caught a Polvaredas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gervasio Nuno helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Yala got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Nuno. Adolfo Veremundo scored 0-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efrain Olentzaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th of the match, Arnoldo Evis tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Efrain Olentzaro got in the way and made a wonderful save. The crowd rose to their feet as Polvaredas's Arnoldo Evis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Efrain Olentzaro. That made the score 0-3 after 74 minutes of play. 77 minutes into the game, Polvaredas's Adolfo Veremundo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Efrain Olentzaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. A collision led to Polvaredas getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Baldomero Estevez hit a great ball. When Saverio Hernandez came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Yala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saverio Hernandez couldn't finish the play. After 90 played minutes Polvaredas got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Ponc. Tomás Tabb, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A hard shot 93 in the game by Adolfo Veremundo from a close distance when the talented Efrain Olentzaro managed to make a qualified save. Yala's players were relieved. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Polvaredas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
