The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Evis got free with Emilio Osoitz in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 minutes, Adolfo Veremundo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. La Trifulca's Emilio Osoitz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Arnoldo Evis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Osoitz was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Lorenzo Elija's late challenge caught a Polvaredas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Adolfo Veremundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Polvaredas had played much better football throughout.
