If Teodoro Eutor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Laffitte hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Amancio Remir acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Isidoro Loco. Robustiano Baumar might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fulgencio Pero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robustiano Baumar ran back to his position shaking his head. After 12 minutes, Constantino Montae mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Namasté FC and the Candelaria AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Constantino Montae kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Namasté FC's goalkeeper Amancio Remir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Raimundo Aureo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Namasté FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Aureo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulgencio Pero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nereo Gabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Remir having to interfere. Raimundo Aureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Eutor during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Namasté FC booed when Candelaria AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Eutor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nereo Gabino in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amancio Remir, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 39th minute, Nereo Gabino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amancio Remir. The goal made the score 1-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Candelaria AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! Amancio Remir was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Vicente Esdras. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Aureo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teodoro Eutor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodoro Eutor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amancio Remir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Eutor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amancio Remir was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. With a little luck, Candelaria AFC's Fulgencio Pero got control of the ball when Robustiano Baumar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Raimundo Aureo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fulgencio Pero. That made the score 1-2 in the 76 minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Maximino Corderun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Namasté FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Candelaria AFC the free kick. Amancio Remir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Gabino in the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria AFC's zone, Robustiano Baumar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Pero came out of the goal and Robustiano Baumar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amancio Remir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Gabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
