After having played for 5 minutes, Jairo Rafe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miraflores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Rafe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Orlando Luken left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The los del tren jr fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Diego Gumaro came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Miraflores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Gumaro couldn't finish the play. Jairo Rafe struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Paulo Mergildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miraflores. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gregorio Maurin in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Mergildo saved los del tren jr from getting behind. Orlando Luken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Caradaro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Gumaro in the 35th minute of play forced los del tren jr's goalkeeper Paulo Mergildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Mergildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Rafe, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 41 minutes into the match, los del tren jr's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Maurin came free, but Paulo Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, los del tren jr's Agustin Shepherd dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregorio Maurin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Orlando Luken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Caradaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregorio Maurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Rafe was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Luken in the 72nd minute of play forced Miraflores's goalkeeper Jacinto Caradaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nemesio Santxol hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Anselmo Elequemedo from long distance, 79 minutes into the match, got Paulo Mergildo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nemesio Santxol during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, los del tren jr's Nemesio Santxol got a free kick in the 81st minute. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by los del tren jr's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anselmo Elequemedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Miraflores's players had a chance to rest. Anselmo Elequemedo made a great header on Miraflores's corner, it was just that los del tren jr's Paulo Mergildo managed to reach the ball for a save. Jacinto Caradaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Shepherd in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Agustin Shepherd made a precise shot to the right of Jacinto Caradaro. Miraflores's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Jacinto Caradaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Shepherd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Luken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. los del tren jr's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
