Reynaldo Oliviero scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nunez Txindoki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Lagunilla's Elias Giro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amador Cisco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Lagunilla booed when Quilaquina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Azubeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Giro made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Lagunilla's zone, Hilario Leguizamón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nunez Txindoki came out of the goal and Hilario Leguizamón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Lagunilla getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Haroldo Odilon hit a great ball. Reynaldo Olivieros short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Nunez Txindoki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Hilario Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
