If Amadeo Benvide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustin Etxeberri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Leguizamón, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Los cardos's Agustin Etxeberri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Los cardos from getting a goal against them. After 23 played minutes Los cardos got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Cibran. 31 minutes into the match, Los cardos's goalkeeper Agustin Etxeberri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynaldo Oliviero. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Agustin Etxeberri successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Reynaldo Oliviero put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Agustin Etxeberri. Hilario Leguizamón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hilario Leguizamón to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Hilario Leguizamón managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quilaquina's supporters rose to their feet, but Hilario Leguizamón was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Etxeberri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Los cardos's Agustin Etxeberri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Oliviero in the 54th minute of play. If Carlos Polentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Reynaldo Oliviero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Reynaldo Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Los cardos's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Leguizamón came free, but Agustin Etxeberri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustin Etxeberri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Leguizamón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Oliviero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agustin Etxeberri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Agustin Etxeberri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Leguizamón in the 87th minute of the match. Reynaldo Oliviero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quilaquina walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
