When Clara AFC's Cirilo Atauri in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Balde FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ildefonso Patrido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Atauri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ildefonso Patrido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Belasko in the 18th minute of play. After 24 played minutes Clara AFC got a freekick which was hit by Candido Gartxot. Balde FC's Nestor Chucho got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clara AFC's goalkeeper Carlos Iztal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eugenio Giro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Iztal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Clara AFC booed when Balde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Tanio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Giro, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Carlos Iztal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Chucho in the 41st minute of the match. Nestor Chucho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Iztal having to interfere.

Clara AFC's Cirilo Atauri got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Atauri in the 57th minute of play forced Balde FC's goalkeeper Ildefonso Patrido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cirilo Atauri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Eugenio Giro came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Balde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Giro couldn't finish the play. Carlos Iztal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Chucho's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After 74 played minutes Balde FC got a freekick which was hit by Celso Abancens. Candido Gartxot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ildefonso Patrido having to make a save. Juan Arias struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ildefonso Patrido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clara AFC. A collision led to Balde FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Sergio Perutxo hit a great ball. In the 90th minute of the match Clara AFC got a corner. Balde FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Candido Gartxot ran over to the corner to take the kick. Clara AFC's Amado Tuste was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ildefonso Patrido in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
