Carrisalito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filiberto Domeka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Carrisalito's Aurelio Maidana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Domeka in the 12th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Dolores's Filiberto Domeka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Maidana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Osvaldo Colon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustaquio Gorosti's late challenge caught a Carrisalito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustaquio Gorosti helped the player get up and apologised. Eustaquio Gorosti kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Carrisalito getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Santo Abechuco hit a great ball. Santo Abechuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Argi having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Santo Abechuco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrisalito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Abechuco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filiberto Domeka struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Aurelio Maidana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dolores. Aurelio Maidana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Colon in the 33rd minute of play. Denis Argi made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Elpidio Ieltxu sent off a good shot on target. Elpidio Ieltxu struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. In the 44th minute of the match, Santo Abechuco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Denis Argi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santo Abechuco to make the kick off. Aurelio Maidana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Domeka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Dolores getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Osvaldo Colon hit a great ball. If Elpidio Ieltxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Filiberto Domeka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dolores's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiberto Domeka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Maidana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Guillermo Valery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute, Santo Abechuco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurelio Maidana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Domeka in the 95th minute of play. The Carrisalito supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dolores's performance. The match ended with a win for Dolores.
