If Aldo Pabla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adan Min fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Cordareo having to interfere. In the 15th minute Adan Min shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Cordareo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Min in the 43rd minute of play forced Arrecifes's goalkeeper Hector Cordareo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Aldo Pabla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arrecifes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BARZA the free kick. In the 45th minute, Aldo Pabla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aldo Pabla to strike the kick off in the second half. Javier Txilar kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Min came free, but Hector Cordareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascual Sadurni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Hector Cordareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adan Min's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hector Cordareo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Pascual Sadurni struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Hector Cordareo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BARZA. After some careless play in the Arrecifes defense, Adan Min kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hector Cordareo. The Arrecifes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hector Cordareo should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that BARZA were the better team. BARZA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
