Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Roque Mogel made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tuyubil AFC's zone, Roque Mogel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Bertin came out of the goal and Roque Mogel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Orlando Theodore made a precise shot to the right of Zeledon Bertin. Tuyubil AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Tuyubil AFC's zone, Orlando Theodore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Bertin came out of the goal and Orlando Theodore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Domingos Arias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hector Pabla. That made the score 1-2 in the 16 minute of play. Sergio Ritchie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Hector Pabla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Roque Mogel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeledon Bertin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Mogel, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Orlando Theodore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingos Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Pabla having to interfere. Hector Pabla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Orlando Theodore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Zeledon Bertin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Hector Pabla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Emanuel Oxel fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tuyubil AFC's protests and gave Emanuel Oxel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th match minute, Tuyubil AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Oxel to maneuver through the defense. Hector Pabla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Ritchie in the 66th minute of the match. Hector Pabla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Ritchie in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Banfield getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Adrian Guillerme hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Celestino Veronica was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tuyubil AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Banfield the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Tuyubil AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Veronica to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Banfield's Americo Erlantz tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hector Pabla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Banfield's Hector Pabla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ritchie in the 81st minute of play. Sergio Ritchie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hector Pabla having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Sergio Ritchie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tuyubil AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Ritchie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Pabla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Domingos Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Mogel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeledon Bertin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
