If Bernardino Mannie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Mannie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Cordareo having to interfere. Pascual Cordareo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Mannie, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Iago in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascual Cordareo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mariano Iago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lolog's Alfredo Txaran got a free kick in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Candonga getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Gerardo Sein hit a great ball. Candonga's Aristides Nardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Candonga from getting a goal against them. Pascual Cordareo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardino Mannie's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Mariano Iago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Candonga:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lolog:s goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Iago to make the kick off. Candonga's Mariano Iago got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Lolog's goalkeeper Pascual Cordareo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardino Mannie. Arnulfo Magdaleno took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pascual Cordareo. Lolog's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Amado Chinto came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Lolog fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Chinto couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the game, Lolog's Alfredo Txaran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aristides Nardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After having played for 77 minutes, Mariano Iago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candonga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Iago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Iago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Cordareo having to interfere. Bernardino Mannie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Cordareo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lolog's zone, Bernardino Mannie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascual Cordareo came out of the goal and Bernardino Mannie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Candonga's Mariano Iago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pascual Cordareo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lolog's Pascual Cordareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Iago in the 92nd minute of play. Bernardino Mannie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Pascual Cordareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Lolog were victorious despite being under pressure from Candonga for much of the match.
