Adan Remir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Placido Bikendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adan Remirs short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Placido Bikendi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 22nd minute, Adan Remir fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Adan Remir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaias Arnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Adan Remir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pilcomayo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 52nd minute Isaias Arnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Bikendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The coaching staff of Pilcomayo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jorge Sanchez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 64 minutes into the game, one of Pilcomayo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 66th minute, Horqueta FC got a penalty, and Fidel Caetano placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adan Remir in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Placido Bikendi saved Horqueta FC from getting behind. Adan Remir might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Placido Bikendi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adan Remir ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd minute Froilan Diagur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Bikendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adan Remir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd match minute, Pilcomayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Abel to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Luke charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a defensive mix-up in Horqueta FC's zone, Adan Remir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Bikendi came out of the goal and Adan Remir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pilcomayo fully deserved thier win.
