Baldomero Cordaryal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Xacintu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiburcio Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Ramon Xacintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tambillo's zone, Cosme Mikeldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Cordaryal came out of the goal and Cosme Mikeldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Sandaili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tambillo's Silverio Michael in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Castelar FC's goalie prevented a goal. Andres Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Michael in the 31st minute of the match. If Cosme Mikeldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Silverio Michael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Polo having to interfere. Baldomero Cordaryal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Xacintu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramon Xacintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Cordaryal having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Cosme Mikeldi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Cordaryal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alberto Sandaili made the kick off in the second half. Ramon Xacintu took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomero Cordaryal. Baldomero Cordaryal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Alberto Sandaili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonides Eztebe's late challenge caught a Tambillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonides Eztebe helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 minutes of play, Tambillo's Alberto Sandaili made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andres Polo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th minute, Ramon Xacintu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Mikeldi in the 77th minute of play forced Tambillo's goalkeeper Baldomero Cordaryal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Alberto Sandaili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Sandaili, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Baldomero Cordaryal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Mikeldi in the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Castelar FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Silverio Michael fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Alberto Sandaili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Mikeldi struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Baldomero Cordaryal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castelar FC. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tambillo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Castelar FC.
