Cirilo Pepillo charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cirilo Pepillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cirilo Pepillo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Gartxot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Edgard Gartxot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cafayate AFC's Angelo Baristo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Gartxot in the 57th minute of play forced Cafayate AFC's goalkeeper Angelo Baristo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Joaquin Ospin sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Angelo Baristo threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Joaquin Ospin this time. Severiano Tximitx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Domingos Dolfos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Severiano Tximitx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The supporters of Amaná booed when Cafayate AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Efren didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 97 in the game by Ildefonso Abalos from a close distance when the talented Angelo Baristo managed to make a qualified save. Cafayate AFC's players were relieved. After 98 minutes of play Cafayate AFC's Tiburcio Efren was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 101 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cafayate AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joaquin Ospin was slow to take the kick. During this time Amaná's players had a chance to rest. Cafayate AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
