Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lucio Mattin started the match with the kick off. Gustavo Gonsalvo kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Daniel Calixto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Ferrocarrilera AFC's David Domeka in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Velez Sarsfield's goalie prevented a goal. Epifanio Lobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Calixto in the 31st minute of play. Daniel Calixto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Epifanio Lobo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Domeka's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After having played for 44 minutes, David Domeka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferrocarrilera AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Domeka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucio Mattin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Elorri having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Domeka was the one to do the kick off. Lucio Mattin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Elorri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Tartalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jairo Oton fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferrocarrilera AFC's protests and gave Jairo Oton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, one of Ferrocarrilera AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ferrocarrilera AFC. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Velez Sarsfield. Gustavo Gonsalvo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nicanor Elorri. 1-0. Epifanio Lobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Domeka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Domeka struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Epifanio Lobo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferrocarrilera AFC. Ferrocarrilera AFC's Nicanor Elorri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Mattin in the 76th minute of play. Epifanio Lobo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 77th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Mattin in the 82nd minute of play forced Ferrocarrilera AFC's goalkeeper Nicanor Elorri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Calixto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Epifanio Lobo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the final whistle sounded Ferrocarrilera AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Velez Sarsfield.
