Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alfredo Olivar took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes of play, Achalco's Alfredo Olivar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dionisio Jayvier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Armando Grabiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Jayvier having to interfere. When Alfredo Olivar came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Achalco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Olivar couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, La Novena FC's Teodosio Urre got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Bastiaro in the 16th minute of play forced Achalco's goalkeeper Oscar Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Victorino Ado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, La Novena FC's Eustacio Bastiaro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oscar Lopes. Oscar Lopes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Dionisio Jayvier came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Achalco's Alfredo Olivar. But to his dismay, Alfredo Olivar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Dionisio Jayvier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Olivar went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, La Novena FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Grabiel came free, but Dionisio Jayvier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Alfredo Olivar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Jayvier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the La Novena FC defense, Armando Grabiel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dionisio Jayvier. The La Novena FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dionisio Jayvier should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustacio Bastiaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Casimiro Maurin fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 67th match minute, La Novena FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Bastiaro to maneuver through the defense. Achalco's Armando Grabiel got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eustacio Bastiaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Oscar Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
