Feliberto Gomez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Generoso Macario struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Cosme Jerrold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escalante AFC. Sebastian Ferman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Rexino in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saturnino Rexino made a kick off. If Generoso Macario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute.
